Obama said yesterday (7-27-08) that the surge is working and that the Presidential cabinet did not expect it to. Who makes and implements a plan on the basis of it failing? Obviously Bush expected it to work and IT DID!! Pelosi today on the View (7-28-08) said that the surge is not working. It seems to me that if there was so much synergy in the Democrat party, the liberal presidential candidate and the liberal leader of Senate would be on the same page.
